How much does it cost to join? There’s no formal membership & attendence is free.
Do I need to tell you if I’m coming? Nope. Just turn up on the night.
Do I need to be a music expert?Do I need a music collection? No & no. All you need is an interest in music & an open mind. And, if you start collecting, we’ve listed our favourite record shops.
What sort of music do you play? Anything. Curated themes aren’t based on musical genres. We’re only limited by what people bring.
Do I have to sit in silence? Only if you want to. Sessions are social events too, so chat as much as you like—just be aware that people are also there to listen to the music.
Do you just play vinyl? We used to, but CDs are also welcome.
Do I have to have a beard & drink craft ale? We have plenty of female regulars. All ages are here. There are a few beards & only a bit of chin-stroking.
I’m shy. Do you bite? We’re a friendly bunch. It is Swanage, after all!
What time does it finish? We play more tracks after the second album, until the bar closes sometime between 9:30pm & late, depending on theatre events & the time of year.
