What could be more appropriate in Swanage than music about the Sea and Coast? Not much! Curated by Keith. Featured albums: Ocean Rain by Echo and the Bunnymen, and Simon introduced Standing on a Beach by The Cure.

Will you be my Valentine? February’s theme was predictably based on Valentines’ Day, and this session was the day before, on Thursday 13th. Featured albums: Loveless by My Bloody Valentine and Dummy by Portishead. Curated by Keith again, but we now have a list of volunteers to curate, from March.

Jo is curated the Record Club on Thursday 13th March, with lots of Irish-themed music. Mine’s a Guinness! Featured albums: The Undertones (The Undertones) and Casual Sex in the Cineplex (Sultans of Ping F.C.).

This April, Willoughby chose the theme of Technology. There were some bleeps and boops, and a trip in a spaceship on Thursday 10th April. Featured albums: The Man Machine (Kraftwerk) and In Search of Space (Hawkwind).

Paul A curated Give the Drummer Some on Thursday 15th May. The theme focused on drummer-led bands and tracks. Featured albums: Displaced Diaspora by Moses Boyd and Not Tight by DOMi & JD BECK.
